April Bowlby

April Bowlby, an American model and actress from the United States. Her most well-known role is that of Kandi on the CBS comedy series Two and a Half Men Stacy Barrett on Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr on Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby, an American actress best known for her portrayal of Stacy Barrett on the American comedy drama Drop Dead Diva and Kandi from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. Her modeling career began in the early 1990s before moving into film as well as television. The first time she appeared was on small screen as an extra for the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. This came with appearances on individual episodes of other series. Soon after, she was able to land the breakthrough character of Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby has received worldwide acclaim due to her character, Stacy Barrett, in the popular show Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby portrayed Rita Farr/Elastigirl in Titans, an American series on the web called Titans. The character will return in the spin-off to The Doom Patrol television series. Bowlby has also appeared in TV movies Sands of Oblivion & The Wrong Daughter. She made her big-screen debut with the film All Roads Lead Home and later appeared in other movies such as The Slammin Salmon and From Prada to Nada. Bowlby moved to Manteca California when she was a young girl and went to East Union High School. Prior to deciding on an acting career and directing, she took classes in French as well as ballet classes at Moorpark College. Following her studies in drama under Ivana Chubb, she landed the lead part (Kandi in Two and a Half Men) in the first few months of the time of her Hollywood debut. Bowlby has been on numerous TV series like CSI in 2004 as Kaitlin Rackish in 2004 CSI: NY with Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005, Stacked with Jasmine in 2005, and How I Met Your Mother as Meg in 2007. Bowlby recently took the role as Natasha as a twelve-year old girl in the film All Roads Lead Home. This 2007 film is about a young girl who lost her mother following an automobile accident. Bowlby will be in the comedy film The Slammin Salmon as Mia. The actress lives in Los Angeles. She is a redhead with blue eyes. She's single with no children.
