Lis Wiehl was born August 19, 1962 and was a former Fox News legal analyst.
She was previously an assistant professor of Law in the University of Washington Law School. She's provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has a weekly appearance in The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs this evening. The Imus Morning Show. It's the Legal Lis Radio Show and Wiehl of Justice Podcast.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima and went to West Valley High School. She graduated from Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree at the age of 33 in. In 1985 she received the Master of Arts degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she received a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues to NPR's All Things Considered. She was the Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee, during the impeachment of Clinton. She taught law as a tenured law professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. Wiehl worked as an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
