The family was raised from Rochester, New York, Sharp was an avid musician and was a clarinet player as well as piano and cello at the world-class Hochstein School of Music. The Boston Conservatory offered her an award for the theatre program at the school. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. Sharp began her journey to the stage. She appeared in her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp performed Abyssinia and Aida in the theatre in addition. Alongside her performances both on stage and the screen, Sharp has several other unique projects she has written or co-written. Apart from performing, she is currently developing an album. Sharp loves fitness. She is active by training in boxing, learning Krav Maga, and taking long roadtrips. Sharp lives in Los Angeles.
