Niykee's personal highlights include being selected by a scout to join Snoop in the YouTube Brandcast, in May 2013, as well as writing songs in spite of the chaos over the last few years. At present, she is a magnet to aspiring artists, she is constantly looking over beats she receives and finds that many are able to spark song ideas. In just 5 seconds, I can tell whether a track is good or not. Then I get an idea for a song and begin writing it immediately. I sit on my backyard with my guitar, and then the lyrics just come and usually it's finished in just 30 minutes. Niykee states that, as she develops as a lyricist her painful memories from her childhood serve as an inspiratoin. My experience of pain as a child as a child and losing my younger sister is evident in my songs, even when they are not exactly literal. The lyrics are influenced by it and creates a more profound significance. To me, this is the key to succeeding.
