Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 in Hereford England) is a English Singer-Songwriter. Ellie Goulding's enthralling electronic style rapidly pushed her into the top of the charts when she was noticed by the public in 2010. The singer-songwriter was able to do this with the singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream, and an aptitude of writing songs with emotional uplifting lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she's on the cutting edge of contemporary mainstream pop as well as arty independent music. She ultimately signed a major-label deal for her label Polydor Records and began making arrangements for her debut album.
